Notary for Ramla Residents
Looking for a notary in Ramla? The office is in Ness Ziona. For signatures you come in once, and certified translation is provided remotely.
Inheritance and selling an apartment
When an apartment passes by inheritance, the first steps are an inheritance order or a probate order, and registering the rights in the heirs' names. Sometimes one of the heirs lives abroad and needs to sign a power of attorney before a notary where they live. How to sell an inherited apartment: the article on dira-law.
A minor travelling abroad
A minor travelling abroad with one parent, with an escort or alone sometimes needs a notarial certificate of the other parent's consent. The consenting parent signs before the notary, presenting identification. Details on the Minor Travel page.
Remote service
Certified translation from Hebrew into English and from English into Hebrew does not require you to come in. You send a scan by WhatsApp, receive a price under the regulations, and the signed certificate is sent to you.
Fees and what to bring
Notary fees are fixed by regulation and are the same at every notary office in Israel. You can work out the exact fee in advance with the notary fee calculator. Bring valid identification and the original document to the appointment. A full list by type of service is on the what to bring to a notary page. Not sure which certificate the receiving body requires? Details by purpose are on the which certificate a document needs page.
Hours and appointments
Sunday to Thursday 09:00-19:00, Friday 09:00-12:30. Notary services outside these hours, at weekends or outside the office are available by prior arrangement, with the surcharge the regulations set for such service.
Frequently asked questions
The heir lives abroad. Do they have to fly to Israel to sign?
Not necessarily. They can sign a power of attorney before a notary in the country where they live, with an apostille from that country, and send the original to Israel.
Do both parents have to come to the notary?
No. The parent giving consent signs before the notary, presenting identification. The parent travelling with the child does not need to come.
