Hi, I'm Chotmi! And this is Cheshbi, the accountant! We have 3 things to tell you about notary fees. Notary fees are fixed by regulation and are not negotiable. Every notary in Israel charges the same fee for the same notarial act. The tariff is adjusted on 1 January each year, in line with the index. And VAT is added to every amount. Service after 19:00 or on a day of rest? A 50% surcharge. And a visit outside the office is charged by the hour, plus travel expenses. How much will it cost you? Related legal services, such as drafting the document, are not part of the notary fee. The tariff is adjusted on 1 January each year in line with the index, and VAT is added to every amount. Service between 19:00 and 08:00 or on a day of rest carries a 50% surcharge, and service outside the office is charged by the hour, plus travel expenses.
